Even the most outstanding students sometimes run into unexpected difficulties during their college experience. The Academic Success Center connects students with the resources they need in order to thrive at the University of Great Falls. Whatever college life throws your way, we are here to help!
We are a conduit between students, faculty, and staff, and we refer students to the right resources for them. Your counselors at the ASC will help you establish study plans, keep you on track for graduation, assist with sports eligibility, and keep you in good academic standing. We teach you the skills you need to be successful and help you navigate any roadblocks that might appear. We love to visit with students, so please feel free to stop in and say hello!

Twila Croft has worn many hats during her time at UGF. She generally works with veterans, commuters, transfers, non-traditional students, and upper-classmen. She is also the contact person for athletes from the Rodeo, Lacrosse, Golf, and women’s Basketball teams.

Derek Bonds was licensed in 2008 as a License Clinical Professional Counselor. Derek has worked in various positions in the Great Falls community. While being employed at the local Center for Mental Health Derek worked as an in-home therapist, out-patient therapist, and returned to work for center as an outpatient supervisor. Derek worked for A.W.A.R.E Inc., as a CSCT (Comprehensive School Community Treatment) therapist and opened up a CSCT program for three local elementary schools. Derek also was in private practice for three years.
Derek has been an adjunct/part-time instructor for the University of Great Falls since 2009 teaching psychology/counseling courses.
