The University of Great Falls Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Silsby is proud to announce the signing of Montana High School star basketball player.
Isaac Howard, a 6’5” Choteau Bulldog Guard, averaged 20.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in his senior season. He is a 48% 3-point shooter with a 78% accuracy from the charity stripe. Howard boasts a single game high score of 36 points.

HELENA – Nikki Barta scored a 13.80 in Barrel Racing to grab seventh in the event. Team mate Dani Dandro posted a 13.57 to grab third. Jirrels promptly knocked a 1-1 pitch by the diving Lady Jimmies shortstop and into left field to earn the game-game winning RBI as the Argos won 6-5 to split with the visiting Jamestown College. A small group of Argo athletes competed at Washington State University’s indoor facility on Saturday, January 14th, taking down the first school records of the year. Tyler Burns, a junior from Salt Lake City, opened up the high jump, breaking his own school record with a jump of 1.85m. Freshman David Reinhardt followed with a clearance of 1.90m (6-2.75), breaking the record for the second time in a day.

Great Falls, MT – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the recipients of the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award for this year’s spring sports. The University of Great Falls had nine student-athletes named to this honor for men’s and women’s track and field and softball. Argonaut Wrestling Releases Two Camp Dates
The University of Great Falls Head Wrestling Coach Caleb Scheaffer announced the dates of two wretling camps. To get information about the camps simply click on the camp name you are interested in. The camps are the 2012 MT-USAW Western Regional Junior Duals and the 2012 UGF Wrestling Camp. Scheaffer also announced that 2-Time National Champion Anthony Varnell will be a camp instructor.
This past indoor season, Travis Price ran the 800m in 1:52.23 at University of Idaho - this was the fastest 800m time for any Montana college athlete. Price holds the University of Great Falls school record in both the 400m and 800m races. MORE>
