Brewer Announces Key Addition To UGF Track Staff
GREAT FALLS, MT – University of Great Falls head cross-country/track and field coach Jim Brewer has announced the hiring of Paul Johnson as the university’s new Director of Track and Field. Johnson brings a wealth of experience to the Argonaut track and field program having coached every event for the past 32 years. He served as the head track and field coach at Stanwood High School in Stanwood, Washington from 1977 to 2009 as well as the head cross-country coach for Stanwood High School from 1981 to 2008. His vast knowledge of every event will not only be advantageous for the young Argonaut track and field team entering only its’ second year of existence, but will also be very beneficial for the existing coaching staff. UGF Track & Field Adds Another Athlete
GREAT FALLS, MT – University of Great Falls head cross-country/track and field coach Jim Brewer has announced the signing of Cody Shinkle of Riverton, Wyoming to a NAIA National Letter of Intent. Shinkle, a recent graduate of Riverton High School, will join the UGF track and field program for the upcoming fall semester. More>

Jugan Resigns A.D. Post
GREAT FALLS, MT – Eugene J. McAllister, President of the University of Great Falls, announced today that Andy Jugan, recently engaged as Athletic Director, was stepping down for personal reasons. Jugan explained, “UGF is a truly special place, but at this point in my life being here at the University and Great Falls may not be the best fit for me or the University.” More>

UGF Men's Soccer Announces 2010 Recruiting Class
GREAT FALLS, MT – First-year University of Great Falls men’s soccer coach Paul Zazenski announced his recruiting class of 2010 today. The Argos get practice underway next month and are looking to build on last season’s program-record 15 wins and a runner-up finish at the MCAC/DAC/FC Independent Tournament last November. More>

Himmelberg Brings Back Another Local Athlete
GREAT FALLS, MT – University of Great Falls basketball coach Bill Himmelberg has announced the signing of Kezia Ford, a 5’8” guard, to a NAIA/Frontier Conference Letter of Intent today. Ford, a native of Augusta, MT and a 2008 graduate of Great Falls High School, returns to her Montana roots after competing the last two seasons at Southern Virginia University, a NAIA-affiliated school located in Buena Vista, VA. Zazenski Announces Coaching Staff Additions
GREAT FALLS, MT – First-year University of Great Falls men’s soccer coach Paul Zazenski has announced the hiring of Mike DeMara and Robby Modad as his assistant coaches for the upcoming season. Both DeMara and Modad bring impressive backgrounds to the Electric City and they look to aid in the continued growth and development of the Argo soccer program which begins competition next month after a highly successful 2009 campaign that saw the team rack up a program-record 15 wins.
