All UGF students who live more than 50 miles from campus are eligible for Distance Library Services.
If you need library materials, call 406-791-5315, email email@example.com, or click one of the links below to e-mail a request for journal articles, books or other materials.
The catalog lists the materials owned by the library.
The eJournal Portal provides access to full text electronic journals in the library's collection of electronic resources, regardless of what database the article is in.
The Library will usually send books, articles and other materials directly to you. Books and other returnables are usually checked out for one month. If you need more time, call the circulation desk (406) 791-5315 or e-mail to see if the loan period can be extended.
If the UGF Library does not have a book or journal article that you need, we can locate and borrow a copy for you via Interlibrary Loan. The UGF Library is a member of LVIS (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing) and does not charge for ILL services.
On rare occasions, an item is only available from a library that charges to lend materials via Interlibrary Loan. Although borrowed books and other returnable items cannot be sent out of state, you can keep copies of articles and documents. Most articles are sent via email within a few days of the request. Books and other returnables usually take at least 2-3 weeks.
Due to licensing agreements, off campus access to online databases is restricted to UGF faculty, staff and current students.
