As part of a vibrant and exciting liberal arts university, the Music Department offers students opportunities to sing as part of the Choral program. Students may participate in the Chamber Choir, take private voice lessons and/or audition for the Great Falls Symphonic Choir.

Students may also play in the University of Great Falls Community Band, Jazz Ensemble, and take private instrumental lessons on their primary or secondary instrument, as well as take private piano lessons. Advanced string and wind players may audition for membership in the Great Falls Symphony.

Students that join the University of Great Falls Chamber Choir are eligible to receive a $3,000 renewable scholarship. They must demonstrate by audition a strong musical background and potential for musical and academic success at the University of Great Falls.

Instrumental music students may also qualify for scholarships under the ‘Courage Award,’ which honors students who use their talents as part of their campus community involvement and have financial need.

Music students are also eligible for additional scholarships, grants, loans and work-study positions available through the University's Office of Financial Aid.

Please contact the Office of Admission with questions regarding scheduling an audition.
